My name is Rebecca Jennings, and I am currently a third-year student attending the University of California, Riverside, pursuing my bachelor's in Computer Science. I am passionate about pursuing a career in software development or cybersecurity, where my goal is to contribute to innovation while bridging the gaps between ethics and technology. I am an ambitious individual who employs adaptability, hard work, collaboration, leadership, and passion to learn through any given opportunity. I am continuing to broaden my skills in C++, UI/UX, Arduino/hardware, through multiple positions in engineering organizations, and participating in hackathons!

• Create general meeting presentation slides and handle room reservations for WINC (e.g. special events, Rose Hack).
• Manage and update WINC calendar, work closely with the Secretary for seamless communication.
• Work on organizing outreach events and maintain collaboration with different orgs within and outside of BCOE through.

• Maintain and update TikTok and the website when needed: includes making changes such as updating pages with forms, events, newsletters and anything else that is required as well as ensuring that everything is running smoothly.
• Work on the quarterly newsletter, take photos during the SWE events (GM, socials, etc.), and make HerStory IG reels/stories.
• Assist marketing committee through marketing events on the website and attend regular meetings with other chairs/committees to stay engaged.

• Provide excellent customer service while acting as the first point of contact of BCOE Student Affairs for students, faculty, staff, and community members.
• Serve as support to the BCOE Advising team during quarterly in-person drop-in hours, supporting students with the check-in process, greeting, assessing advising needs, answering questions, and routing to web resources.
• Offer presentations on relevant topics to support the course registration process, student success, deeper student engagement and update upon online videos addressing common advising concerns.

• Work with other interns for ACM@UCR to plan and execute the CS Town Hall this year: reaching out to professors to have them participate, planning out the questions to ask, assigning tables to each intern/professor, executing the event, marketing the event, setting up/cleaning up, and delegating tasks amongst each intern.
• Attend weekly meetings to assess the progression of planning a town hall and be responsible for delegating other tasks including tabling to promote ACM and assist leads in planning for Citrus Hack.
• Design flyers and posts for all platforms (Discord, Instagram, LinkedIn, website, media calendar etc.), work alongside executive board members to create content to promote ACM events and initiatives.
